Santa's Arrival & Holiday Fun!
November 28
Join us on Saturday, November 28, to kick off the holiday season in wild style at the Zoo!
The fun starts at 9:15 a.m. when you'll see Santa arrive by helicopter. Then, enjoy a festive parade featuring the Verry Merry Dickens Carolers, Sparky the Fire Dog, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, Miss RI & Miss Teen RI, Marines from Toys for Tots, special Zoo animals, Santa's elves, and of course, Santa!
See Santa off at the end of the parade and then enjoy a packed schedule of holiday fun with our "Wild Winter Wonderland" activities, including holiday musical performances, character meet and greets, dance performances, an ice carving demonstration, "gifts" for the animals and much more! Activities are included with Zoo admission. Donations of new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots will be accepted.

Make a World of Difference
Here's a concrete way to lend a hand in saving our planet
Did you know that not only is the Zoo a place where you can see and learn about animals, but it is also a leader in saving endangered and threatened species both here at the Zoo and in areas all around the world? We are dedicated to saving elephants in Africa, tree kangaroos in Papua New Guinea, frogs in Central America, and the American Burying Beetle right here in New England, to name just a few. But we urgently need your help to support this important work.
We are all stewards of our planet, and each one of us has a role to play in the protection of threatened and endangered animals. It's easy for one person to feel overwhelmed and wonder, "How can I make a difference?" A gift to the Zoo is an easy, concrete way for you to help, both locally and globally. There are few places where your support can touch so many corners of the globe at once.
Please help make an important change in the lives of animals, both living here at the Zoo, and worldwide. Visit us online to make your gift today and to learn more about our conservation efforts.
