PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
Story Times
Pull up a seat and join the Wild Bunch for an adventurous animal story time! With fun voices and body movement we’ll bring tales like Giraffes Can’t Dance and Rhinos for Lunch, Elephants for Supper to life! It’s the perfect way to re-charge during your full day at the Zoo.
Puppet Shows
New this year!
Performed by our lively Wild Bunch, our puppet shows are designed to entertain and engage audiences of all ages. This season Zoo Theater proudly presents Mind Your Water-Table Manners, a story of a young girl who learns how her animal friends depend on the water for survival and how she can help out!
Creature Features
Have you ever seen a Keeper in an animal exhibit and wondered what they are doing? Join us for Creature Features where the Wild Bunch will explain the ins-and-outs of feeding time, training and enrichment sessions. Learn more about all of the care that goes into keeping our animals healthy and happy!
Animal Spotlights
Have you ever wished you could touch the fur of a bison or learn more about the beak of a flamingo? Now you can! Join Zoo Docents as they help us discover more about the amazing animals at the Zoo. Each month we’ll highlight two new animals!
Exploration Stations
Whether you are in Africa, Tropical America or our Wetlands – each exhibit area at the Zoo has a story to tell. Join Zoo Docents at these interactive tables where you can play games, touch animal artifacts, learn about adaptations and more! |
