Roger Williams Park Zoo offers a unique and lush atmosphere for any event or outing! Where else can you and your guests mingle, dine and stroll among exotic animals like giraffes, elephants, moon bears, snow leopards and penguins? Whether you're planning an event for 10 or 5,000, the Zoo is an ideal location for a memorable experience or special occasion, including:

The Venetian Plaza on the Marco Polo Trail
This truly immersive locale will have your guests feeling like they're worlds away from the norm! Originally designed as the entrance portal to the Marco Polo Trail (featuring camels, moon bears, snow leopards, red pandas and more), the Venetian Plaza is a completely recreated outdoor scene from medieval Italy. This venue is available at any time of day or in the evening and can accomodate up to 80 guests, depending on seating arrangements. |

The Picnic Pavilion
Perfect for accommodating a larger number of guests, the tented Picnic Pavilion is located in the upper Zoo and offers a large and yet out-of-the-way place to party that's still a stone's throw from some of our most popular exhibits. This venue is available at any time of day or in the evening, and can accomodate up to 250 guests. |

The Meller-Danforth Education Center
Our Education Center is a great place for corporate meetings. The perfect place to get away from the ordinary and "think outside the box," the Center offers a large "in-the-round" sky-lighted meeting space that can also be converted into three separate rooms. A/V equipment, podium and other amenities are provided. This venue is available any time of day or in the evening and can accomodate up to 135 guests. |

Jambo Junction
Located among our Fabric of Africa exhibits and directly adjacent to the elephants and giraffes, our recently refurbished Jambo Junction offers tented seating overlooking our wetlands lake. This venue is available after the Zoo closes to the public at 4 p.m. and can accomodate up to 2,000 guests. |

The Entire Zoo!
If you're planning a large evening event and want to treat your guests to an exclusive experience, you can rent the entire Zoo, staffed and with all available animals on exhibit! Capacity is up to 5,000 guests. |
