Get InvolvedAbout the Fort Worth Zoological Association
For 30 years, the Fort Worth Zoological Association’s (FWZA) dedication to conservation efforts have ensured that new generations of species around the world continue to thrive, while generations of animal enthusiasts have enjoyed a world of animals right here in Fort Worth.
Every year, under the leadership of Ramona Bass, the FWZA hosts a season of inspiring events and helps raise funds to support the Zoo’s mission and increase awareness for wildlife conservation. Their work has been instrumental to A Wilder Vision, the $130-million capital campaign that includes new and renovated habitats for Zoo animals, dining areas, restrooms and most importantly, new ways to observe, interact with and learn about animals.
